Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Invoc mobile application and invoc.io website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by CSS LLC, a company registered in Switzerland. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Invoc is a food price comparison platform that allows users to scan product barcodes, compare prices across stores, benchmark shopping baskets, and access crowd-sourced product data. The Service is available as a mobile application (iOS and Android) and via the website invoc.io.

3. User Accounts

  • You may need to create an account to access certain features
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
  • You agree to provide accurate and current information
  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service
  • We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms

4. User-Contributed Data

When you scan products and submit prices, you grant CSS LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, aggregate, and display this data within the Service. User-contributed data may be combined with other sources to improve price accuracy for all users.

5. Accuracy of Information

Prices and product information displayed in the Service are provided for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that prices are current or error-free. Actual prices may vary at the point of sale. Always verify prices in-store before making purchasing decisions.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Submit deliberately false or misleading price data
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the Service
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Interfere with the operation or security of the Service

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logos, and content (excluding user-contributed data), is the property of CSS LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. The Invoc name and logo are trademarks of CSS LLC.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Swiss law, CSS LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Switzerland.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the app or website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
